Handbags and Gladrags was an opportunity to get dressed up and party the night away at the Sheraton Skyline Hotel London Heathrow. Entertainment on the night included cocktail making, a pamper zone and dancing till the wee small hours. There was also a competition to win a dream, Sex and the City-style stay at W New York Downtown - with guests asked to share their story from the evening. The winner was Mairead Quirke of ATP Events & Experiences. And here was here winning entry:

 

‘Thanks to all the staff at the Sheraton Skyline Hotel and Heathrow
You gave us ladies a night of glamour,
free pampering and fabulous memories to take away in tow.
As we approached the red carpet was laid,
The cocktails were being shaken, stirred and fabulously made.
The New York style buffet really was a true feast to be seen,
Those beautiful desserts made us far less lean.
The fresh seafood, pastas and meats were truly divine,
And were washed down with the most fabulous white wine.
We were pampered and dazzled with sparkling colourful body paints and glitter,
And the photos have since made us all the talk on Twitter.
As night fell on the beautiful Skyline bar, we made our way inside to the glitzy ballroom bar.
The music played and the colourful posh frocks started to sway,
We truly danced and laughed the fabulous night away.
By midnight we danced our high heels off and the night was coming to an end, more's the pity,
But for those few hours we definitely were made to feel
just as glam as those gals in Sex and the City!'
